Country: Ethiopia Description of the Assignment: The Health Sector Digital Payments Expert, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, will develop an implementation framework for digital payments in Ethiopias health sector, focusing on services at health facilities, community-based health insurance (CBHI) premium payments, and salaries for Health Extension Workers (HEWs) and community volunteers. The expert will create a roadmap for HEW salary and CBHI digital payments, advise on business requirements for financial service providers, support implementation, and produce a policy note on expanding digital payments in healthcare, addressing challenges, and providing strategic recommendations for scalability and sustainability. The approach will adhere to UN Principles for Responsible Digital Payments. Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 12 months Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.
