The Financial ServicesAuthority (OJK) as the regulator and supervisor of the Financial ServicesSector (FSS) continues to improve the quality of Financial Services Sectorsupervision and financial system stability surveillance. OJK routinely receivesvarious kinds of data from the Banking, Capital Market and IKNB sectors. Thedata received is then managed by OJK to support the implementation ofsupervisory duties and information services in the financial sector. As aresult of the Big Data phenomenon and especially data reporting, OJK needs tobe faster and more active in carrying out its duties and functions. For thisreason, the ability to manage data and analyze large amounts of data is neededfor more effective and pre-emptive decision making. As a solution, thedevelopment of Big Data Analytics is expected to solve these problems. In other areas, data andinformation management for internal operations at OJK is conducted separatelyfor each business process: Logistics, Finance, Human Resources (HR), andStrategic Management. However, there is currently no integrated data model thatrepresents these internal management processes. To create a complete andcomprehensive OJK Enterprise Data Model (EDM) Internal Management and provide aconsistent reference for future application and information system development, it is essential to prepare an EDM specifically for internal managementprocesses.
