***Contractors will visit a private residence in Iowa City, Iowa, make recommendations regarding modification needs, complete their own measurements, and submit a bid based on their own specifications. There are no existing plans for this job.*** Equipment, fixtures, supplies, plumbing, drywalling, additional labor, and removal of all leftover materials and debris included. Bathroom: Remove existing bathtub/shower and install a walk-in shower with surround. Move existing drain piping and hot/cold water piping. Install new shower valve, detachable shower head on glide bar, and one (1) grab bar. Remove existing vanity/sink and install wall hung sink with new faucet and anti-scald drainpipe wrapping. Install approximately 36" wood door. Kitchen: Modify existing countertop for underneath accessibility. Mud Room: Install approximately 36" wood door. Install rubber transition ramp. Install vinyl flooring over existing plywood subflooring. Supply and install doorway threshold. Repair existing lock and laundry doorknobs. Basement: Install heavy duty chair lift with remote call buttons, ensuring electrical compliance. Install approximately 36" door with accessible doorknobs. Products used are lowest cost materials available to meet the needs of the member in compliance with IAC 79.9 (2).
