The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) at Lakeland, FL operates one Gulfstream G-IV(SP) high altitude jet in support of tropical cyclone and other scientific research. This aircraft requires the use of a navigational database subscription in order to safely operate. This comes in the form of the Integrated Navigation Data Service (INDS) and contains data to include, but not limited to, aeronautical charts, airport diagrams, Fixed Base Operator information, and approach and departure procedures.
