Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to award a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc. for a reagent rental agreement utilizing a Sysmex CA-660 Coagulation System, as required by the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Laboratory Department located in Crownpoint, New Mexico. The period of performance will be a one (1) year base period, and four (4) one (1) year option periods.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc., in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), for Orders or BPAs exceeding the micro-purchase threshold based on a limited sources justification for circumstances justifying limiting the source, for a proposed order exceeding the micro-purchase threshold not placed or established in accordance with the procedures in 8.405-2 or 8.405-3, and justified as an only one source is found capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Mr. Marshall L. Arviso, Contract Specialist, at marshall.arviso@ihs.gov by 2:00 PM MDLT on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
