Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) ship Rainier has a requirement for a replacement iXBlue, Inc. gyrocompass system and additional replacement parts. The gyro system will replace the existing two gyros, and gyro controller on the ship. Highly reliably, maintenance free gyros are required to reduce down time due to gyro failures and to eliminate maintenance costs associated with existing mechanical gyros.
