Country: Papua New Guinea Description of the Assignment: International Consultancy for an Evaluation Expert & Team Leader Consultant UNDP is seeking an international consultant (evaluation expert & team leader) to assess the achievements of the above-mentioned three projects against the expected results outlined in the projects- results framework, examining the overall performance and relevance of the projects and whether they were implemented as intended and identified results and indicators achieved. The consultant will examine which factors proved critical in helping or hindering change and if the original assumptions remained relevant during implementation. Moreover, the consultant will examine not only the impact of the projects but equally important it will be to provide future direction to the UN organizations by drawing upon lessons learned, assessing the current context in the Highlands related to peace and development, and making recommendations for future consideration.
