This announcement is related to the procurement procedure that the customer may later initiate to acquire a ROAD PLANNER for the project "Vt12 improvement between Alasjaervi - Huutijaervi, TS".
Highway 12 runs from Rauma to Tampere and through Lahti to Kouvola and is one of the most important transverse likennel connections. In addition to its national role, the highway also has an important regional and local significance. The highway passes through the urban structure of the Tampere urban area and acts as an important mediator of regional traffic. The highway is one of the main connections for regional commuter traffic. Valtatie 12 belongs to the main main road network defined by the Finnish Highways Agency, and the road section from Tampere to Lahti is a separately defined heavy traffic trunk connection.In the evening, the road section can meet the traffic, land use and environmental requirements set for the road connection.
