The IRDG Innovation Skillnet aims to provide relevant training and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) at a competitive price and to ensure that all members and those involved in the innovation, research, and development profession are provided with the opportunity to keep pace with the ever-changing world of work and raise the level of technical education, skills and knowledge around innovation, research, and development. It provides a forum where organisations can collaborate, network, and promote best practice in competencies and skills. We will do this by developing and delivering world-class training for existing and emerging innovation leaders, by supporting the adoption of ISO innovation management frameworks, and by addressing non-technical industry-specific or general innovation skills. We know that building and developing skills and capability is a long-term driver of innovation and the network will continue to work collaboratively with companies to share best practice and to respond effectively to their business skills needs.
