Tender are invited for ADF&G ITB # 2024-1100-0278 Vessel Charter Norton Sound Trawl - King CrabSummary: The Department of Fish and Game, Division of Commercial Fisheries, is seeking a contractor for the use of a fully functional trawl vessel, as living quarters and an operation base to assess Norton Sound Section (Area Q) red king crab stock abundance and perform other king crab research. This contract requires a vessel captain and a minimum of four (4) additional crew. ADF&G will place up to four (4) department personnel aboard the vessel in Nome to sample trawl catches and collect oceanographic information. The charter is scheduled to last approximately fourteen (14) days which includes one (1) day to load, one (1) day to offload and the remaining twelve (12) days of charter service will be devoted to at-sea research.
