Garðabær municipality in Iceland is seeking offers from interested and qualified parties to participate in a collaborative project involving the renovation, maintenance, and operation of Garðabær's property at Holtsbúð 87. The property, better known as Klaustrið, was previously owned by the Sisters of St. Joseph Church. According to the purchase agreement between Garðabær and the sisters, there is a condition valid until 2028 that the property must be used for activities benefiting the elderly or other similar humanitarian, healthcare, child, or youth services. The property has been in limited use recently and, according to the current condition assessment, requires significant maintenance and renovation. Gardabaer is looking for parties who, for example, would be willing to: • Buy or lease the property in whole or in part to operate activities that fall within the scope of the stipulated conditions. • Handle the maintenance and renovation of the property in regards to those activities.
