Deadline for Submission of Bids: 1 November 2021, 14:00 hours, Solomon time.
The Solomon Island Water Authority, trading as Solomon Water (“SW-) (‘the Employer”)
invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the the Kongulai
WaterTreatment Plant and Pipeline Project. The works include a raw pipeline and pump
station, a 15ML/day treatment plant, a reservoir, ponds, a treated water pump station and
pipeline and civilworks to the site and access road (“the Works”).
3. Open competitive bidding-International (OCB) will be conducted using the SingleStage: One-Envelope (1S1E) bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries
as described in the Bidding Document.
4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualification should participate in this bidding:
• Construction and commissioning of a drinking (potable) water treatment
plants of at least 5ML/day
• Operation and Maintenance of a drinking (potable) water treatment plant
of at least 5ML/day for a period of not less than 12 months
• Design, and installation of steel reservoirs
• Design, and installation of potable water process units
• Installation of grid connected solar power systems of at least 30kW
• Construction and commissioning of HDPE pipelines. Minimum installed
length of 1, 000m (in a single contract) using butt fusion welding.
