The city of Yloejaervi will build the new Kuru unified school on the current plot of land at Myllymaeentie 2, 34300 Kuru, about 40 km north of the center of Yloejaervi, as a KVR contract with an open procedure and ceiling price. The premises of the school to be built will be dimensioned according to the 1-series uniform scalelun preschool (21), elementary school grades 1 6 (150) and middle school grades 7 9 (75). There are a total of approximately 246 students at the location and approximately 35 personnel. Option 1 is to renovate the premises of the workshop/side building. As option 2, the premises can also be placed in the new building for social and health carefor veys services, which would consist of student care, health center services and counseling activities. The building has 1 2 floors and its usable area is approximately 1888 m2 without the premises for social services (option 2). Tentatively, the construction period is estimated to be 09 / 2024 11 / 2025.
