The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency operates Aviation Gasoline 100LL and Jet A1 storage/dispensing facilities at 5 airtanker bases and 17 response bases located throughout Central and Northern Saskatchewan. SPSA also supports wildfire suppression efforts with drummed Jet A1 fuel at various locations throughout Saskatchewan. These bases are operated seasonally, typically April through October. Remaining post-season bulk aviation fuels held in storage tanks and excess drum fuels are considered to be in static storage. The SPSA is looking to enter into a contract with a supplier of laboratory analytical services to provide compliance recertification to confirm the samples provided by the client comply with the detailed requirements of the current Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) specifications for Aviation Turbine Fuel Jet A-1 and current ASTM specifications for Aviation Gasoline, Grade 100LL.
