Description

This is a solicitation for combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. Moody AFB is looking for a Lactation Pod that can be positioned at the end of a hallway (See attachments) with power, refrigerator storage, ventilation, lights, and on-site set up. Pod must accommodate pumps and devices related to nursing or a lactating mother.

Lactation Pod must be delivered and setup by manufacturer, location needed is in the building 663 hallway which has a width of approximately 8 FT. Maximum total hallway space that can be occupied by the pod when door is fully open must be: 76", to allow for a space allowance for traffic when door is fully open of at least 20" or 1'7". Minimum Unit Height 7' 4", Width 4' and Depth 4', Maximum Unit height 8', Width 7 '. Depth 48'. There are two 110v plugs avilable for the plug to connect into for power. The pod can be positioned anywhere on either side as long as it doesn't block the fire extinguisher (See attached pictures).

Needed features:- (2) UL Listed electrical outlets + (2) USB Outlets 36W, - Wide Private Locking Door, ADA Compliant Door & Door Threshold with interior deadbolt lock. - Temperature Controlled Mini Fridge- Slide-able or built-in shelf or other similar flat surface. - Lactation/Pumping Chair w/ Milk Bottle Holders.- Bleach Cleanable Surfaces, - Occupancy sensor controlled ventilation system & LED lighting inside.- Pod must not be bolted into the floor. It should be easily movable by Air Force Personnel if needed.
