Description

NASA-s Glenn Research Center (GRC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the City of Cleveland (Cleveland), a municipal corporation of the State of Ohio, for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Communication Network Services. Specifically, these services will provide NASA/GRC access to operate its Motorola brand-name LMR equipment on Cleveland-s 800 MHz P25 Digital Trunked Radio System installed and maintained by Cleveland-s contractor, Motorola Solutions, Inc.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NASA/GRC anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract to Cleveland as the only responsible source reasonably available to satisfy the agency requirements under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

The applicable NAICS Code is 517112 - Wireless Telecommunications Carriers (except Satellite).

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to the identified point of contact not later than 11:59 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on November 22, 2024. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
