Delivery of a laser ablation system with LIBS
A new laser ablation system is being tendered for an analytics laboratory for the University of Bremen, in the Department of Geosciences. The system must have both an ablation sample chamber for coupling to an ICP-MS and an ultra-high vacuum chamberr include coupling to a helium mass spectrometer. The system also includes a LIBS device (laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy), which records and evaluates the optical spectrum emitted during laser ablation. The laser system must have hardware and/or software synchronizationallow the ICP-MS.
