Tenders are invited for Lease of the 04 Numbers Edible Oil Storage Tanks of Capacity Approximately 8905 Mt at Summer Hill New Tank Farm within Port of Colombo Premises of Sri Lanka for a Period of Ten (10) Years on Annual Lease Payment Terms.

A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders 011 the submission of a written application to the Chief Engineer (Mechanical Plant), in the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable document fee of LKR 30, 000/= (Inclusive of VAT) from 14.02.2022 to 07.03.2022 from 09.00 hrs. to 15.00 hrs on working days. The method of the payment for document fee will be in cash. Pre-bid meeting has been scheduled 011 24.02.2022 at 10.00 hrs in the Office of Director
(Technical), SLPA.

Sealed bids accompanied with Bid Security shall be delivered to Chairman - Ministry Procurement Committee, Ministry of Ports & Shipping at No. 19, C'haithya Road, Colombo 01 by not later than Bid Closing Date & Time on 08.03.2022 at 14.00 hrs. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids shall be opened immediately after closing the tender in the presence of the bidders- representatives who were nominated by the bidders to attend physically in the occasion of bid opening at the address below.

The minimum Government Valuation for the Annual Lease of the 04 Numbers Edible Oil Storage Tanks of Capacity approximately 8905 MT at Summer Hill New Tank Farm has been Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) Thirty Six Million and Five Hundred Thousand (LKR 36, 500, 000.00) excluding applicable Taxes. Therefore, any bid of Annual Lease quoted less than LKR 36, 500, 000.00 excluding applicable Taxes shall be rejected without consideration.
