Scope of Work/Overview:Consultant shall review options to upgrade the existing interior lighting to reduce both energy consumption (GHG emissions) and maintenance costs. The existing control system is Lutron and the majority of the existing lights are T5 and T8. A full life cycle cost analysis of all options shall be completed to determine the best solution. As part of the lifecycle cost and options analysis: investigate integrating lighting control occupancy sensors into the building automation system (BAS) to allow for future HVAC control; and investigate implementing a daylight harvesting control system. Replace all interior light tubes & pot lights throughout building with new LED, including drivers/ballasts and provide control and dimming capabilities, including occupancy sensors and wireless switching. Ensure light levels meet clients requirements as per CLC/PSPC. Perform a light level reading of all areas pre-construction, and post-construction. Extra stock recommendations to be provided based on options provided, and included in the construction documents. Consider any applicable rebate programs. Two different products have been mocked up in the building. Consultant to analyze and consider these when presenting options in the Business Case 2.
