The research building 'Veterinary Science Departments 1' is to be built on the LMU's veterinary campus in Oberschleissheim and will contain the chairs of physiology, physiological chemistry, pharmacology and animal welfare. Office space, Laboratories (S2) and associated adjoining rooms as well as cross-departmental core areas
such as. E.g. seminar rooms, a wet preparation course room, laboratories, workshop areas and a common central laboratory animal facility were built.
The building is a solid construction with a clinker brick facade and interiorof planned with four above-ground and two basement floors, with the 1st basement containing technical and storage areas and the third floor containing another technical center.
On the second basement floor, in addition to the animal husbandry areas with a scullery, there are also the Core I due to the requirements for vibration protectionmaging laboratories microscopy planned.
The floor space according to DIN 277 (as of project document II/2020 - currently slight deviations) is divided as follows:
