This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.This solicitation is issued as RFQ 36C24125Q0368. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-06.The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is NAICS 221122 (Electric Power Distribution) SBA size standard 1, 100 Employees.This is being posted as a SDVOSB set-aside.This is a solicitation for VA West Haven to purchase and install a Main Breaker Type: GE AKR-7D-30S Type or alternate as long as it s compatible with existing switch gear equipment in Load Center 1. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following:BACKGROUND The West Haven, CT Medical Center performs scheduled Generator testing and Switch Gear / Breaker Testing as mandated by Joint Commission and VA requirements. These tests impact the main electrical feeder switchgear to the facility. When these tests or actual breaker trips occur, there is a lengthy process of testing to re-set the main feeder breaker in Load Center 1.
