1. The United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, Arusha Branch with its Office at, Lakilaki Area Haki Road, Plot No. 486 Block A, Kisongo Arumeru District Arusha Tanzania seeks an appropriately qualified Contractor for the establishment of a long-term Contract for theProvision of non-hazardous solid waste management services to UN IRMCT Arusha Branch.2. The service will be provided to the IRMCT Arusha Branch on " as and when required basis".3. IRMCT, Arusha Branch intends to enter for a Contract for an initial three (3) years of one (1) year periods (1 1 1), at the discretion of IRMCT, subject to the extension of IRMCT's mandate and satisfactory performance by the Contractor.4. List of Waste Type but not limited to:- Scrap Metals various scrap metals generated from accident vehicles shells, vehicle spare parts, air-conditioning units, sea containers, tent poles, concertina wire etc.- Used lead-acid batteries old lead-acid batteries for cars, trucks and generators, rendered unserviceable.- Used dry battery cells used dry cell batteries originating from UPS, Motorola radios or other similar electronic equipment.- Chemical waste different types of paint, varnish, acetone, silicone, hydraulic and compressor liquid etc.- Electronic waste remains from computers, Motorola radios, mobile phones and other similar electronic equipment.- Used tyres used vehicles tyres originating from cars, trucks and trailers.- Used printer cartridges used/empty printer cartridges for various types of printers.The detailed statement of requirements will be provided within the IRMCT Solicitation which is planned to be issued as soon as possible. 5. Please note that responding to this request for EOI does not automatically guarantee that your companywill be invited to the forthcoming solicitation. Furthermore, the IRMCT reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. 6.
