As part of the cable repair strategy, a contractual partner is being sought for cable fault location who, in the event of a cable fault, can determine the fault location onshore, offshore or in the Wadden Sea on the client's cable systems (energy and fiber optic cables) in The Netherlands within the shortest possible time. This includes rough predetermination of the fault location, locating the cable along the respective route and final determination (postdetection) of the fault location with the technical best possible accuracy. For this purpose, the contractor must be able to perform its work in all environments and areas along the respective cable route (onshore, offshore, Wadden Sea). The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment to provide cable fault location services on the Purchaser's energy transmission systems: DC cable systems including Interconnectors — rated voltages up to ±320 kV, — up to 326 km length and — rated voltages up to ±450 kV, — up to 580 km length. AC cable systems — rated voltages up to 220 kV, — up to 45 km length Further detailed information on the services to be provided can be found in the specifications.
