Description
The Naval Air Systems Command, (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, Maryland, Air Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems (ASW) Program Office (PMA-264) announces its intention to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to RDA Inc. (CAGE Code: 0C9C3) for the fabrication, qualification, and delivery of the Low-Cost Acoustic Processor (LCAP) engineering tool and support ASW engineering development and test activities. LCAP is used for high-fidelity acoustic data collection and analysis of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) engineering development and test activities. This includes Multi-static Active Coherent (MAC), MAC Enhancements (MAC-E), Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), Acoustic Communications (ACOMMS), new functionality with the AN/SSQ-101 series and the AN/SSQ-125 series sonobuoys, procurement and/or repair of Buoy in a Boxes (BIAB), concurrent processing of active and passive sonobuoys, new operator machine interface designs, High Duty Cycle (HDC), demonstration of Advanced Product Build (APB) concepts, Under Sea Advantage (USA) source/receiver sonobuoy array modifications and associated USA processing. This requirement includes: 1) delivery and upgrade of hardware, software, and firmware; 2) updates to the software defined sonobuoy receiver(s) capable of acoustic communications and intelligence; 3) test, evaluation, installation, and integration of LCAP into the aircraft. In addition, the LCAP engineering tool will provide additional support for Airborne ASW platform scientific testing and development efforts in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS), off-site field testing for Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT), analyses of post-mission data, and the development and administration of Fleet training programs.
