Solicitation Description : The Texas General Land Office (“GLO” or “agency”) Community Development andRevitalization (“CDR”) division seeks proposals from qualified vendors to implement aPedestrian Egress Study (the “Study”) for the following counties: Hidalgo, Willacy, andCameron (the “Region”). The planning studies shall be focused on on-foot evacuationduring high rainfall events in the Lower Rio Grande Valley (the “Valley”).The purpose of this Project is to determine how low tide sections of towns in the Valleycan evacuate on foot to shelters during high rainfall events so that first responders can focuson other issues.
