Ku-ring-gai-s Lunar New Year Festival is a yearly event celebrated around the Lunar calendar. The celebrations include the signature event the Lunar New Year food market at St Ives Village Green along with an array of cultural activities at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, Gordon Library and the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre. The festival will be in its 5th year in 2025 and attracts over 5, 000 visitors across the evening and consists of an array of multicultural food stalls alongside amusement rides and cultural entertainment with the Village Green coming alive with lion Dancers and cultural dance performances throughout the evening from our event partner CASS Chinese Australian Services Society. The Ku-ring-gai Lunar New Year Festival has been supported by Multicultural NSW Stronger Together grant for the past 3 years and hoping to continue this partnership into future years.Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking the provision of amusement ride and food vendor services and management.Ku-ring-gai Council would like to invite you to submit a proposal for the follow services below.Services: Proposal for food vendors and amusement rides for the Lunar New Year Food Market. Please note: We require the same organization to provide and manage both services.Contract Duration: Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking to offer the preferred supplier a 3 year contract with the extension of 1 + 1 years to a total of 5 years including extensions.
