LVR-Rheinisches Berufskolleg, new construction of a Zweid gymnasium, carpentry work on the acoustic ceiling
carpentry work for the new construction of the Zweid gymnasium for the Rheinisch-Westfaelisches Berufskolleg, Kerckhoffstrasse 100, 45144 Essen.
The new Zweid gymnasium replaces the vexisting, detached gymnastics hall and will enable modern school sports lessons at the RWB location in the future. Furthermore, the new hall serves as a meeting place for around 750 people. The new building will be a passive house in solid construction with a wooden roof structure above the hallI built it. Generous post-transom glazing and exposed concrete facades determine the external shape of the new hall. The measure covers a gross floor area of approx. 2, 071m2 (BRI approx. 15, 617m³).
School operations will continue throughout the entire construction period.
The subject of the services is carpentry worken for the creation of a real wood acoustic ceiling in the gymnasium area.
