This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes.The Department of Veterans Affairs on behalf of Buffalo VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), sole source action to;Name of Contractor:State of the Art Medical Products, Inc.Street Address:41 Canfield RoadCity, State, Zip:Cedar Grove, NJ 07009The objective of this action is the procurement of Standard Lymphatic Mapping Probe, Probe cable and Sterilization Tray. Market research has concluded Lymphatic Mapping Probe sold via State of the Art Medical is the only manufacturer to meet the compatibility standardization requirements of Buffalo VAMC.The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
