Description : The work covered by this pre-qualification includes the following:- Removal and proper disposal in accordance with all of the applicable laws of the Province of Ontario, of obsolete and decommissioned equipment, including a wet scrubber system, associated caustic solution make up tank and any residues remaining in the tank, obsolete HVAC equipment, and staged removal and replacement of existing PVC chlorine gas piping with chlorine solution piping and renewal and relocation of the chlorine injector equipment and flow management valving.- Install new HVAC equipment and modify life-safety controls programming in areas that may experience a chlorine gas leak.- Install a sump in the chlorine building and connect to a plant drain in the process area.- Staged renewal of the chlorine system equipment and instrumentation including a new chlorinator and expansion of the gas feed system with the addition of a fourth feed line.- Live tap an existing service water line and connect to the chlorine injector system.- Staged replacement of the existing chlorine gas and staged renewal of the solution lines throughout the process area of the plant. - Handle and dispose of existing chlorine gas lines in such a way that prevents chlorine gas release through the plant.- Install a new chlorine solution-based drip system to the pre-treatment area.- Complete a like-for-like replacement of an ion exchange water softener.- Provide support through factory acceptance testing (FAT), ...
