In accordance with its Corporate Social Responsibility program, EDF is particularly keen to respect the fundamental principles and rights enshrined in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, the Charter of Fundamental Rights ofe the European Union and the Conventions concluded within the framework of the International Labor Organization.

EDF has also concluded, with the social partners, a national agreement on the Social Responsibility of the Group, followed at EDF by an agreement on Socially Responsible Subcontracting (STSR).These agreements deal in particular with the monitoring of supplier practices in terms of compliance with the law, the health and safety of employees, ethical behavior with suppliers and respect for the environment. In accordance with its Corporate Social Responsibility programrises.

In this context, the EDF Group Purchasing Department evaluates product-supplier pairs with regard to compliance with the "Group Supplier Policy", "Group CSR Policy" and "Ethical Policyof the documents previously cited, and the assurance of the quality of the products and services purchased, particularly in a context of relocation of certain suppliers and distance from manufacturing sites.
