Description :Faculty Technical Support (FTD) of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) of the University of Groningen (UG) is seeking to acquire a dedicated helium liquefier with compressor setup configured to purify and liquefy helium recovery gas as well as to liquefy helium gas grade 4.6, i.e. helium gas with a purity of 99, 996%. The existing helium liquefier Linde model 1410 with compressor was acquired about 15 years ago.In order to increase reliability, the University of Groningen is looking for a helium liquefier with compressor setup that combines with the current helium liquefierwith compressor setup as a redundant system. After careful market research focusing on the requirements, the UG has come to the conclusion that Linde Engineering North America Inc. is the single supplier that can deliver the required installation as described in this document. If there are partieswho can meet the requirements mentioned in this document as well, please respond to this market consultation before 8 April 2021. If there are no reactions, the UG will proceed with the purchase of the model L1410 liquefier with integrated purifier and model RSx compressor of Linde Engineering NorthAmerica Inc. without prior publication.
