The Poverty Reduction department has been using the Amsterdam City Pass (within Work, Participation and Income) for more than 30 years. The pass is intended to lower the threshold for sports, recreation, education and culture in the city, especially for Amsterdam residents with a small wallet and this for themto make this more accessible.

This market consultation is a preparation for the tender for a city pass system by the Municipality of Amsterdam. The Municipality of Amsterdam is investigating the possibilities for realizing, implementing and managing a future-proof city pass system en therefore wants to test and investigate in the market consultation what options there are for introducing such a system and what costs are involved. The municipality of Amsterdam also wants to gain insight into the phasing of an implementation, the lead time of the phases and the oconstruction of costs.
