The Institute for Mijnbouw damage Groningen (IMG) has the task of handling damage caused by movement of the soil as a result of the construction or exploitation of a mining work for winning gas from the Groningen field or as a result of the gas storage at Norg and Grijpskerk. Part of the work for this concerns the execution of (damage) recordings, analyzing and assessing the damage, determining the required recovery advice and calculating the costs for repair, and including the result in an advisory report. An additional advisory services on views, objections and appeals may follow. This activities are carried out for both "regular" homes, as well as "specials" (such as monuments or objects with an agricultural destination) and also for other types of objects such as retail buildings and housing associations. As the contract with the current parties ends in January 2025, with a maximum of one year of extension, IMG would like to talk to the market to arrive at an appropriate tender and agreement (s).
