Statens Serum Institut (SSI) invites relevant stakeholders to a market dialogue as part of the preparation for an upcoming acquisition of a license for standard software capable of scanning DataMatrix codes and other types of codes. It is mandatory that the standard software can be used in "offline mode". The purpose of utilizing barcode scanner software is to support various task at SSI, but limited to the following strategic activities: -preparedness (against infectious diseases, biological threats, and the control of congenital disorders) -disease surveillance -diagnostics -biobanking. The barcode scanner software will only be employed and integrated in IT-solutions running under the SSI's domain name (*.ssi.dk).
