The Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is planning the procurement of an anaerobic workstation for research purposes to be used in laboratory environment in Oulu, Finland. With this market survey / prior information notice Luke surveys the market and potential suppliers for the supply of anaerobic workstations in order to carry out the possible future competitive tendering process in an appropriate manner. The prospective equipment to be purchased is intended to be used to process, culture, and examine anaerobic microorganisms and anaerobic processes. As many of our studies focus on microorganisms originating from cold-climate habitats such as the Arctic, the cabinet should have a cooling as well as a heating possibility. The cabinet should be large enough to accommodate the necessary equipment (e.g. small plate reader, quartz sterilizer, vortex), as well as the possibilities to incubate plates inside the cabinet on shelfs. The cabinet airlock should fit for 1 litre bottles and be automated in use. Easy maintenance and low operating costs are of advantage.
