Description

The United States Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) hereby provides notice of intent (also referred to as a pre-solicitation notice or synopsis) to exercise a six-month option under an existing, sole source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract W56HZV-15-D-0037 to extend services. This action will not be competed in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Under the authority of FAR 52.217-8, “Option to Extend Services”, and FAR 52.217-9, “Option to Extend the Term of the Contract”, ACC-DTA will extend the expiration date of the contract by six months, from 31 March 2023 to 30 September 2023. This action provides continued System Technical Support (STS) and System Sustainment Technical Support (SSTS) services to the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) MaxPro Family of Vehicles (FoV).
