The University of British Columbia (UBC) is inviting interested parties to participate in the procurement process for the provision of Project Management for Mechanical Contracting for BRDF.

The service requires contracted support for the unique equipment and processes at the UBC bio-energy research and demonstration facility (BRDF). The equipment and processes include gasification/oxidation (Nexterra), grate-fired combustion (Kablitz etc.), associated fuel conveying and material handling, and all requisite auxiliary systems. The service also includes working with the UBC thermal team to build the first thermal preventative maintenance (PM) program at UBC. Collaboratively building the PM system requires detailed knowledge of equipment and process (current and future state), understanding of equipment-specific (OEM and after-market) maintenance cycles (frequencies), and an inherent understanding of the BRDF process and purpose (current and future state).Closing Date: May 27, 2024 @ 2:00 PM (Pacific Time)
