High Pressure Mercury UV source for TOF-PEEM (AF80087) Qty-1

The Mercury arc UV source is used for standard imaging using work function contrast. The included filter enables for continuous attenuation to adapt the count rate in the Field of View to the maximal count rate of the delay line detector. The filter consists of an iris aperture for the continuous attenuation and a filter wheel with shutter and gray filters 1:10, 1:100 The compact and rigid design of the lamp housing includes collimating optics (mirror & lens), water cooling, power supply and cabling. The UV light originates from the high-pressure 100 W Hg lamp with main line at 4.9 eV and UV light density about 3 W/cm² (30 mW/mm²). It is equipped with a focusing optics inside vacuum and a port aligner for use as versatile bolt on source.
