The building at Doormannsweg 22 was built in the 1960s as a community and cultural center. The building's main entrance faces Wehbers Park and its side entrance faces Doormannsweg. The Hamburg House is a cultural monument and is a listed building. The Hamburg House is to be renovated in terms of energy efficiency and fire protection.

For the drainage of dirty water outsideThe basement, and partly the ground floor and other floors, are being renovated using lifting systems that drain away the areas with waste water. Openings and the floor plates are necessary for this. As part of this, the toilet cores will be renewed and partially reorganized. Also wThe showers that are no longer needed are dismantled and replaced with a unisex shower.
