The Unversity of Ottawa is pleased to invite qualified proponents to submit a proposal for a phase modulator that will be used to compensate the high order phase error of microjoule level mid-infrared laser pulses.Mandatory Requirements:1. MIR Phase Modulator1.1 Spectral bandwidth must simultaneously cover a range of 2.5 - 5 mm1.2 Throughput Efficiency must be 30% or better1.3 Repetition Rate must be 1 - 50 kHz1.4 Number of Effective Pixels must be 180 or higher.1.5 Input Beam Size (1/e^2) must be 6 mm or larger1.6 Input Polarization must be Linear1.7 Group delay must be 5 ps at 5 mm2. Accessories2.1 Must include either a laptop or desktop capable of running the necessary software.2.2 Must include a Chiller that matches the heat load of the device, or better.2.3 Must include an RF Amplifier suitable for the instrument.2.4 Must include an Arbitrary Waveform Generator suitable for the instrument.3.
