Detailed_Description : Minaki Waste Disposal Site ClosureThe Minaki Waste Disposal Site will be ceasing operations on March 31st, 2024. Following the closure, the MNRF requires a contractor to follow the engineered closure plan to rehabilitate the site to a natural state.
Scope of Work : The contractor will carry out and complete the rehabilitation of the site, including, but not limited to the following:1.Consolidate all exposed household waste into the waste pit2.Clean wood pile to be chipped and added to household waste trench3.Apply fill material, low permeability cover material, topsoil and seed to area 1 and historical areas 2 and 34.Remove fencing around the perimeter of the site, as well as scrap metal on site5.Install 6 monitoring wells and complete first samples of wells
