This Request for Quotations (“RFQ”) is an invitation by Ornge to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Air Ambulance Services via Hamilton Airport ( CYHM) as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).Ornge is a family of companies incorporated federally. Ornge provides air and land ambulance services under an agreement with the Ontario Ministry of Health. Additional information about Ornge is available at: www.ornge.ca.Ornge invites respondents to submit quotations for the aircraft as described in Appendix D. Through this RFQ process, Ornge is seeking to procure one (1) aircraft via an approved air ambulance carrier based out of Hamilton Airport (CYHM) to provide a variety of missions not limited to patient only transfers. It is anticipated that the service will be guaranteed seven hundred fifty (750) flight hours annually.Specifically, Ornge seeks to have the following service via Hamilton Airport (CYHM): One air carrier contracted to provide the aircraft; Missions may include the following participants and services as well as other service-relayed requirements; Ornge Teams Patient transfers Mental Health Teams Hospital Teams Pediatric Teams ECMO teams Bariatric transfers High-risk infectious diseases and patients that may be contaminated with chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear contaminants/products/chemicals.
