The subject of this tender are mobile shielding walls for the Konrad 2 mine. The mobile shielding walls are provided in the area of the Konrad 2 reloading hall in order to reduce the dose rate background level in the free measurement area of the reloading hall if necessary and thus the effort for the Hthe release of delivery vehicles from the reloading hall should be kept as small as possible. The mobile shielding walls consist of a mobile frame on which it is possible to hang lead shielding mats. The mobile shielding walls are used as radiation protection aids to quality assuranceGS area 3.1 assigned. There are therefore special requirements for planning, documentation and quality assurance. Before the start of production of the mobile shielding walls, the implementation planning is submitted to the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BASE) as a nuclear regulatory oversight for reviewnd consent to be submitted.
The technical and qualitative documentation of the mobile shielding walls is intensively checked by BASE as the nuclear regulator before physical production, and only then can factory production begin. There are special quality requirements for the documentationmentation and production, so that the procurement is divided into 2 stages.
