The importance of intermodality, i.e. the use of different means of transport on the way from source to the goal, is constantly increasing. In order to take this development into account and to create attractive multimodal transport offers, the city of Lahr, together with the Ortenau mobility network, would like to build mobility stations that are already under brand? Simple mobile? Enter existing, attractive and environmentally friendly multimodal mobility offering in the region. The city of Lahr plans to build a total of 5 mobility stations in 2024. These are modular and differ in their equipment depending on the station size. In addition to bike and car sharing, the offer at the stations is rounded off by bicycle parking spaces. The station design follows the "Simple Mobile" brand already established in the mobility network and also includes an illuminated wall module.
