Thisassignment aims to develop a methodology that integrates the Generation andTransmission Reference Expansion Plan (PERGT) components, considering thenature of each one (transmission as a mandatory component, generation asindicative). This methodology should automate the investment evaluation andselection processes, considering the socio-environmental, socio-economic, technical, resilience, energy adaptability and other benefits of integratingnon-conventional renewable energy sources, such as Offshore Wind. The resultsshould be reflected in selecting transmission expansion scenarios that makesuch investments viable and prioritising them in allocating interconnectionpoints.
