The subject of the contract is the modernization of road III/3445 in the section Prešov - Petrovany. This is the reconstruction of a third-class road in the section from the intersection with road III/3446 to the end of the village of Petrovany (part of Močarmany). On the given section of the road, there are many defects in the road, which point to its insufficient bearing capacity.In the location of Petrovany - Zaborske, industrial parks were built and the operations of newly built companies started, which led to an increase in the intensity of traffic, especially heavy trucks. The composition of the existing road structure is not suitable for the current load. Based on the evaluation of themeasurement salt due to the determined structure of the road using core drilling, reinforcement of the asphalt concrete layers is necessary in almost the entire section to ensure the continued life of the road. Arched bridge no. is also in unsatisfactory condition. 3445-002 and existing culverts in the body of the road. Within the first stagesy modernization, the reconstruction of road III/3445 in the first section starting at km 0.129 and the end and end of the first section at km 0.842 and the reconstruction of the second section starting at km 1.070 and the end of the second section at km 5.047 are being considered. Road III/3445 is under the administration of the public contracting authority - Administration and maintenance of the sitest Prešovskeho self-governing region, Prešov region.
