Description

NOTICE OF SOLICITATION RELEASE. This is a notice to announce that a Solicitation (specifically a Request for Project Proposal) has been issued through the Sensors, Communications, and Electronics Consortium (SCEC) for the “Multi-Domain Operations Radar for Air Launched Effects” effort. This notice and the associated solicitation documents are issued according to the authority provided under 10 U.S.C. § 2371b, Other Transaction Authority. The current due date for proposals is 01 May 2023 at 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time.

OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM. The U.S. Army DEVCOM, C5ISR Center, RTI, seeks proposals for the development of a complete, functional prototype of a radar system for Air Launched Effects (ALE) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to address the needs for a survivable radar sensor for Detect, Identify, Locate, and Report (DILR); Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA); Battlefield Damage Assessment (BDA); and other missions. The project will result in airborne radar technologies to provide DIRL capability to the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) ecosystem. In future conflict, ALE will conduct the DILR mission to enable long range, stand-in and stand-off Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA) sensing across multiple scenarios and domains in a constantly changing Operational Environment.
