Description : The new Cooperation Programme is anchored in Switzerland-s International Cooperation Bill 2021-2025 which pursues four key objectives:

(i) contributing to sustainable economic growth, market development and the creation of decent jobs (economic development);

(ii) addressing climate change and its adverse effects and managing natural resources sustainably (the environment);

(iii) saving lives, ensuring basic services, especially in relation to education and healthcare, and reducing the causes of forced and irregular migration (human development); and

(iv) promoting peace, the rule of law and gender equality (peacebuilding and governance). As a process of monitoring the Cooperation Programme for Tanzania 2021-2025, a series of data collection and analysis capturing the perception of Tanzanians around key development challenges will be carried out on an annual basis. The mandate will be for 4 years period of the Cooperation Programme starting from 15 April 2021-31 December 2025.
