Description

Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled "Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose, " this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes for qualified and experienced sources to provide training objectives are to teach the students theory and application of multibeam survey practices, reinforced with practical application during mobilization of a vessel of opportunity AND the Otter USV with the NORBIT MBES and Norbit iLiDar system and during the Comprehensive Final Field Project (CFFP), where students under supervision will plan and conduct a hydrographic survey IAW standards set forth by the International Hydrographic Organization using the NORBIT MBES and Norbit iLiDar system with associated vessel of Opportunity and Otter USV. The contractor will train the students how to plan a survey, write a survey specification, and conduct a hydrographic survey using NAVOCEANO-s training vessel or other available vessel, NIWTGG-s associated survey equipment to include the NORBIT MBES and iLiDar system AND Otter USV. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Government plans to procure these services as Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101.
