Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area Office requires multiomics analysis by mass spectrometer poultry sample services.
In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, this Request for Quotes (RFQ), number 12405B24Q0106, is available through electronic commerce via the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This RFQ is being issued as a total set aside for small business under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541380, Testing Laboratories and Services. The applicable small business size standard is $19.0 Million. The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type.

The goal of this requirement is to identify biomarkers to control pathogen colonization in broiler chickens. Background Analysis of differentially expressed proteins, lipids, electrolytes, and metabolites are analyzed in the sample using the multiomics approach, which is cost effective and uses less samples as serum samples are precious.
